The Rural Andean Health Care website
The Rural Andean Health Care (RAHC) is a local NGO and member of the PROCOSI network, working in health for the past 25 years. We contribute to enhancing communities’ health and focus on disadvantaged sectors of the population.
We specialize in designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating health projects and administering local health networks.
We have been implementing a family and community-based healthcare model since 1983 to guarantee universal access to healthcare, focusing our actions on the neediest sectors to promote self care and encourage people to take part in deciding their future.
Our philosophy is to save lives working side by side with families, communities and organizations. Our work focuses on child health, integral health, sexual and reproductive health, community epidemiological vigilance and youth development.
We also provide technical support to local and international organizations working in public health.
